Welcoming summer with open arms, let’s have a Vegetarian feast fit for the French countryside!

Upon arrival, you can choose a crisp refreshment of rhubarb seltzer or tarragon lime iced tea.

While enjoying an assortment of seasonal hors d’oeuvres, find your seat with our little gift of blooming flower tea and NH honey.

First: Artichoke Cassoulet

Slowly stewed white beans in a savory broth, studded with sweet carrots, pearl onions, and artichokes

Second: Haricot vert and frisée salad with eggplant “bacon” and confit baby potatoes, dressed in Dijon pumpkinseed vinaigrette

Sweet: Chamomile crème brûlée with poached cherries and almond macaron

Over the course of this luxuriant dining experience under the fairy lights and trees of the Avalon Sanctuary, we will be exploring the history, different versions, and supposed meanings behind France's best-known Fairytale "Little Red Riding Hood". Rife with symbolic meaning, most children are better never hearing the older and more gruesome versions of this ancient folktale.

Join us for this sumptuous dinner and lively dissection of a classic fairytale.
