For our second installment of KNOW YOUR POWER -NH Primary Activism Training, we will gather for an informal research session. Facts are our friends. There are a ton of candidates and more to come. So please bring your laptops and we will crowdsource an information session on all current candidates and their voting records and public statements on the issues we care about.
**this is not a space for anyone to promote their favorite candidate, this is a fact finding mission only.
FREE and open to all women in our community no matter their political affiliation
RSVP suggested but not required
*check our facebook (Avalon North) and Instagram (patriarchynothanks) for weather related cancelations
**Infants and moderately to extremely well behaved children of all genders are always welcome.
Here in NH we have a unique opportunity to have our voices heard as the first in the nation primary voters. This season we could have upwards of 20 candidates, and unprecedented number.
We are forming a task force of Avalon Women to meet regularly to crowd source education/research about issues and candidates, and provide training on how to actively engage with both politicains and the press.
You Have Power Here, and that is so important. The opiod conversation is a wonderful example of NH citizens getting nationwide attention and creating political responsiveness on a very important and rare bipartisan issue.
So please join us, all levels of experience and knowledge are welcome, as are all women from any party affiliation. I personally would love to see women from the full political spectrum find a couple good strong issues we could maybe push for together. This is possible.
Jocelyn Toffic will be facilitating and has assembled a panel of politically savvy women who will be sharing their knowledge base and brainstorming and researching issues and candidates to bring to the forefront. Your participation is valued, but you are also welcome to just come and listen to a bunch of sassy asses talk real politics. Feel free to bring your laptop to research as we go.
